Actress Kirti Kulhari reports Rs 2.4 lakh loss in Mumbai cyber scam

Kirti Kulhari, known for the streaming series "Shekhar Home," reported a cyber-fraud incident to Mumbai police, claiming loss of Rs 243,852. While at a Cinepolis theatre near Fun Republic Mall in Andheri West, she was notified of a foreign charge on her credit card and immediately contacted her bank’s helpline. The bank identified four illicit transactions and disabled the card as a safety measure.

In her statement, Kulhari emphasized that she never shared her card password, leading police to suspect a malware breach on her phone. An FIR has been registered against unknown suspects, and the Cyber Cell is pursuing leads via bank reference numbers and digital traces. Separately, Kulhari announced the completion of shooting her debut feature as a producer, marking a personal milestone.
