AI studio Asteria teams up with ZeroSpace to reshape hybrid film production
Asteria, co-founded by Bryn Mooser and Natasha Lyonne, has entered a strategic alliance with virtual-production firm ZeroSpace to develop new hybrid filmmaking workflows.
Asteria, an artificial-intelligence driven studio founded by Bryn Mooser and actress-producer Natasha Lyonne, announced a partnership with New York-based virtual-production studio ZeroSpace. The deal focuses on building hybrid production workflows that blend AI-generated content, visual-effects pipelines and physical volume stages, allowing filmmakers to move more fluidly from story development to final render. Asteria will grant ZeroSpace access to its Continuum AI operating system, while ZeroSpace will share its ZeroGen platform, which is designed to generate content within copyright-safe parameters.
The two firms also intend to co-produce original titles, pursue joint research, and launch education programs for creators. Both CEOs emphasized that the goal is to empower storytellers, not to automate away creative talent.
