Apple offers refurbished MacBook Neo laptops at $100 off regular price
Apple is selling refurbished MacBook Neo models with a $100 discount, returning the base 256 GB version to its pre-price-hike cost.
Apple has reintroduced its most budget-friendly laptop, the MacBook Neo, through its refurbished inventory at prices $100 lower than the current new-retail rates. The lineup, offered in four finishes, lists the 256 GB base model at $599 and the 512 GB version with Touch ID at $679, each backed by a one-year warranty and optional AppleCare extension. Antonio G. Di Benedetto, who evaluated the device, highlighted its solid performance powered by the A18 Pro processor, while pointing out that the 8 GB of memory and relatively slower storage may limit power users.
He also commended the screen quality, keyboard feel and speaker output, describing the machine as well suited for browsing-centric tasks and ideal for high-school or college students. Additional discounts were noted on accessories such as a Google wireless charger, a Razer gaming controller and a Steam game called Peak.
Why it matters
The price cut makes a capable, low-cost laptop more accessible for students and casual users.
