Austin Greyhounds and Blue Jays Begin District 2B Playoffs This Weekend
The Austin Greyhounds and Austin Blue Jays start their postseason campaigns on Saturday in the District 2B double-elimination tournament.
Austin's No. 2-seed Greyhounds will host Plainview at 2 p.m. on Saturday and could play a second home game the following day if they win. Meanwhile, the No. 8-seed Blue Jays travel to face top-seed Red Wing at the same time on Saturday. Also slated for the weekend, the Dodge County Diamondbacks, seeded sixth, will meet third-seed Northfield at 5 p.m. Saturday.
