Authors issue correction to Nature study on sleep and ageing clocks

A correction has been published for the Nature paper that mapped biological ageing clocks to sleep patterns in middle and later life.

The research team behind the Nature article titled “Sleep chart of biological ageing clocks in middle and late life” has posted an author correction. The amendment, issued by the MULTI Consortium and co-authors such as C.K. O’Toole and Z. Song, revises citation information and restates the Creative Commons licensing conditions governing the paper.

The correction does not alter the study’s findings on the relationship between sleep duration, cognition, and mental health. It also reiterates that third-party material remains under the same licence unless otherwise noted. The updated record is now accessible via the article’s DOI.

Why it matters

Ensures the scientific record accurately reflects licensing and citation details for a study on sleep and ageing.
