Bakersfield Plastic Surgeon Found Dead in Backyard Pool, Cause Drowning Remains Unexplained

Authorities in Bakersfield recovered the body of Sarwa Ama Aldoori, a 71-year-old plastic surgeon, from a pool behind a home on June 30. Aldoori had built a three-decade career in OB-GYN and cosmetic surgery, working at Bella Health and Beauty, but surrendered her California medical license in March 2024 after the Medical Board accused her of violating probation linked to a 2016 liposuction and tummy-tuck that resulted in a patient’s death.
