Banijay Entertainment reports modest first-half revenue dip after All3Media merger

Banijay Entertainment posted a 2.2% decline in first-half revenue to €1.37 billion, citing lower production output while distribution rose.

In its first update since merging with All3Media, Banijay Entertainment recorded a 2.2% fall in first-half revenue, reaching €1.37 billion. Production earnings slipped 11.9% as the company phased in new projects, while distribution revenue grew 10.5% thanks to a format sale in Q1, though the specific format was not disclosed. The figures exclude All3Media’s results, which are slated for inclusion in the second-half statements.

Banijay’s live-events arm, part of Banijay Group, posted a 49.8% revenue surge, propelled by the Winter Olympics and the FIFA World Cup.
