Ben Wikler outlines a multi-year strategy to revitalize U.S. democracy

In a new book, Ben Wikler proposes a sweeping plan for Democrats to win state trifectas, reform election rules and build a permanent grassroots movement.

Ben Wikler, former Avaaz campaign director and Wisconsin Democratic Party chair, uses his latest book to lay out a detailed roadmap for Democrats to secure state government trifectas in battlegrounds such as Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia and North Carolina by the 2026 midterms. He links these wins to broader reforms: eliminating big-money influence, ending partisan gerrymandering, limiting Supreme Court activism and adopting the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact to render the Electoral College obsolete.
