Bland and Revel report strong health ahead of Cowboys training camp

Dallas Cowboys cornerback DaRon Bland, who underwent back-to-back foot surgeries, told reporters he feels “really good” as the team starts its 2026 training camp. Bland, the franchise’s most experienced corner and a former All-Pro who set the record for pick-sixes last season, hopes to return to his 2023 form and justify his four-year, $92 million contract. Rookie Shavon Revel, who spent his first year playing with a knee brace after a college injury, also said he feels solid and is moving more freely in OTAs.

Although Revel is not yet projected as a starter, he could challenge free-agent addition Cobie Durant for playing time. Both players’ health updates ease concerns about the Cowboys’ secondary, and defensive coordinator Christian Parker expects the unit to stay intact for the upcoming season.
