Ahead of the LIV Golf New York event, Cameron Smith said he would "100 per cent" re-enter the PGA Tour should the breakaway league cease operations. Smith, who signed a reported $140 million contract in 2022 and leads the all-Australian Ripper GC, stressed the importance of the Adelaide event’s record crowds and the upcoming team championship in Michigan, which may still proceed. He admitted the situation remains “up in the air” and that he has not yet made alternative plans, remaining under contract through next year.
