In February 2025, he was linked to the disappearance of a 16-year-old Ohio girl, identified only as M.F., who was rescued weeks later; he was subsequently arrested and charged with transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.
A criminal complaint notes his social-media profiles had been reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in 2023 and that Dropbox flagged suspected abuse material in 2025. Lawrence pleaded guilty in a Cincinnati federal court and faces a mandatory minimum ten-year sentence.
