Candace Owens shares alleged new roof footage of Charlie Kirk killing

During a recent episode of her self-titled podcast, Candace Owens uploaded a one-minute-twenty-second video she asserts is previously unseen security footage of the September 10, 2025 assassination of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. The clip allegedly captures a person in black sprinting across the Losee Center roof, performing a lateral crawl, and positioning themselves near the edge before the shooting. Owens claims the material, obtained from a government source, was presented at Tyler Robinson’s week-long preliminary hearing in July, but authorities have not detailed what the court-shown video contained.

She uses the footage to suggest Robinson did not fire the weapon, a view echoed by conspiracy promoters such as Alex Jones. Prosecutors maintain that extensive evidence links Robinson to the murder, and he has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges. Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, has publicly urged Owens to cease promoting these theories. Turning Point USA, where Owens formerly worked, has not responded to inquiries.
