Charlamagne tha God calls Fauci's post-pardon silence “suspicious” on radio show

On Thursday’s "The Breakfast Club" program, Charlamagne tha God voiced skepticism about Dr. Anthony Fauci’s repeated invocation of the Fifth Amendment during a Senate hearing, labeling the behavior “suspicious” after Fauci received a full pardon from President Joe Biden. He argued that a pardon implies wrongdoing, and highlighted conspiracy claims that Fauci engineered or covered up the COVID-19 virus and benefited from related mandates.

Co-hosts countered that Fauci’s silence was advised by legal counsel and that the pardon was meant to protect him from possible prosecution by an incoming administration. They noted that the pardon covers all of Fauci’s actions between January 2014 and January 2025, leaving only perjury as a potential charge. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Rand Paul said he will seek contempt proceedings against Fauci for refusing to answer over 100 questions.
