Commanders host fan-filled practice and evaluate ten hopefuls, including Kurt Warner's son

During a fan-packed training-camp session in Ashburn, the Washington Commanders worked out ten players, highlighted by the son of Hall of Famer Kurt Warner.

On Saturday in Ashburn, the Washington Commanders returned to the practice field for the third day of their training camp, aligning the session with the league's Back Together Weekend and welcoming fans for the first time. President Mark Clouse presented Hall of Fame inductees John Riggins and Darrell Green to the crowd before the team took the field. General manager Adam Peters and his staff conducted workouts for ten players, featuring the quarterback son of Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, who logged 41 college starts at Temple, Rice and Fresno State.

Additional tryouts included former NFL veterans and recent undrafted free agents such as a former Georgia center who spent time with four NFL teams, a Purdue graduate who was waived by the New York Jets, and a former Chargers receiver with 67 catches and 11 touchdowns. The event highlighted the Commanders' ongoing search for depth at multiple positions ahead of the upcoming season.
