Construction Starts on Mandurah Hospital to Expand Peel Region Health Services
Construction has begun on a new hospital in Mandurah, part of the Peel region south of Perth, with an opening planned for early 2029.
Groundbreaking started for a comprehensive medical centre in Mandurah that will include an emergency department, a mental-health crisis unit, maternity, outpatient, palliative-care and cancer-treatment services. The new facility will replace and expand the services currently provided at the Peel Health Campus. Officials project the hospital to be operational in early 2029, enhancing health care for the region.
