Couples therapy helped Nara and Lucky Blue Smith cope with daughter's cancer

Nara Smith, a 24-year-old model and TikTok creator, revealed on the "Call Her Daddy" show that couples therapy she and Lucky Blue Smith pursued early in their marriage equipped them to handle their daughter Whimsy Lou’s cancer diagnosis. She recounted that the family only fully grasped the seriousness of the illness once chemotherapy’s physical toll, such as hair loss and nausea, became apparent, causing the couple to feel they were "crumbling."

By leaning on each other and applying the communication techniques learned in therapy, they were able to support one another through difficult days. Smith highlighted that therapy is not solely for troubled relationships but can provide tools for a stronger life. She also mentioned that Whimsy Lou finished treatment and is now in remission, and referenced other celebrities like Rob Lowe and Manny Jacinto who have spoken about the benefits of couples counseling.
