Dallas Wings to relocate to American Airlines Center for 2027 season
The WNBA's Dallas Wings will move their home games to the American Airlines Center starting in 2027, joining the arena used by the Mavericks and Stars.
After seven seasons at College Park Center in Arlington, the Dallas Wings announced a shift to the American Airlines Center for the 2027 campaign. The venue, which hosts the NBA's Mavericks and NHL's Stars, can accommodate roughly 20,000 spectators for basketball. The Wings previously drew crowds of about 6,250 at their former arena. Their last appearance at the larger arena saw a record attendance of over 20,400 when they hosted the Indiana Fever.
Why it matters
The move gives the Wings a larger venue and higher visibility, potentially boosting attendance and revenue.
