Delaware dance instructor arrested on felony child sexual abuse and solicitation charges

Delaware State Police announced the arrest of 23-year-old Emily Pryor Albino of Seaford on felony sexual-abuse and child-solicitation charges. Detectives opened the case on Aug. 4 after learning that Albino, a dance instructor at X-Treme Dance Studio in Laurel, had allegedly abused two teenage dancers. Further inquiry revealed she sent sexually explicit electronic messages to the same youths, and authorities believe more victims may exist.

The indictment includes one count of sexual solicitation of a child using a computer, cell phone or other device, plus four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust. Albino was arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and placed in the Department of Correction on a $110,000 cash bond. The investigation is being conducted jointly with the Delaware Department of Justice, and detectives are urging anyone with information or who may be a victim to contact Detective R. Mitchell or submit tips via Facebook or Delaware Crime Stoppers.
