Delta flight forced to divert after violent passenger shouts about Aaron Boone

A Delta Air Lines flight from New York to Las Vegas made an emergency landing in Denver when a young, agitated passenger repeatedly yelled the name Aaron Boone and assaulted crew members.

During a transcontinental trip, a male passenger in his early twenties, wearing a backward baseball cap, disrupted the cabin by shouting “Aaron Boone! That Bleepin’ Aaron Boone!” while assaulting flight attendants. The disturbance prompted the crew to request an unscheduled landing in Denver. U.S. Marshals detained the individual after he was handcuffed. One flight attendant suffered facial cuts and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
