Dolby Vision 2 rolls out on select Hisense 2026 television models
Dolby Vision 2 is now available on certain 2026 Hisense TVs, featuring AI-driven scene-by-scene optimization and new motion and lighting tools.
Dolby Vision 2 has been activated on select Hisense televisions released in 2026, including the UX, UR9, UR8 and U7 lines. The centerpiece, Content Intelligence, uses artificial intelligence and embedded metadata to tailor image settings for each scene, improving visibility in dark sequences. Complementary tools—Light Sense 2, which continuously calibrates brightness based on room lighting, and Authentic Motion, a creative-driven motion control system—are classified as Dolby Vision 2 Max features and work across the supported models.
Users can also adjust an intensity slider to control picture depth and richness. Several streaming services, notably Peacock, Canal+ and iQIYI, have committed to delivering content that leverages these capabilities. While other manufacturers have not yet announced support, broader adoption is expected in the near future.
