Drunk passenger disrupts British Airways flight to Las Vegas, is handcuffed and arrested

A British Airways flight scheduled to leave Heathrow for Las Vegas was halted after a passenger, described as drunk, erupted into a violent, shouting fit just before take-off. The man repeatedly tried to rise from his seat, ignored repeated commands from a female flight attendant to stay seated, and swung his arms while swearing at other travelers. Crew members surrounded him as the situation escalated, and police were summoned to the aircraft.

Officers handcuffed the 31-year-old individual and escorted him off the plane, causing the aircraft to be returned to the gate for the arrest. The passenger remains in custody while investigators pursue the case. British Airways issued a statement emphasizing that disruptive or abusive behavior will always be dealt with according to policy.
