Dunkin' revives 48-oz iced coffee bucket with new car-cup holder
Dunkin' will reintroduce its 48-ounce Iced Beverage Bucket on August 7, now paired with a custom holder that fits standard car cup slots.
Dunkin' announced that its 48-ounce Iced Beverage Bucket returns on August 7, targeting summer outings and beach trips. Each bucket, sold for $12.99, includes the chosen beverage—options range from Cherry Lime Rickey Refresher to Iced Coffee with Peanut Butter Swirl. A new, molded bucket holder will allow the oversized cup to sit securely in a standard car cup holder, a feature developed after an initial market test showed demand for on-the-go portability.
The product will be available only at participating stores, and customers are urged to call ahead. Loyalty members who earned boosted status by making twelve visits in a calendar month received early access on July 29. The promotion follows a limited-time rollout that previously tested in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, where fans even drove long distances to obtain the bucket.
Why it matters
The upgrade lets customers enjoy Dunkin's giant drinks while traveling, expanding the brand's summer sales appeal.
