Farage and Tice file High Court claim against NCA over alleged data leaks

Reform UK head Nigel Farage and MP Richard Tice have lodged High Court proceedings against the National Crime Agency, accusing it of unlawfully releasing their personal financial information. They contend the agency leaked bank statements, transfer records and details of talks with bank managers, constituting several criminal offences, and are demanding both an apology and compensation. The claim arises after media reports revealed that a loan to Tice's company and a large donation to his charity were flagged in the NCA’s suspicious activity reports.

Tice first learned of the flagging when contacted by one outlet. While the NCA says its Professional Standards Unit is reviewing the complaints, it has refused to provide further details. A Reform UK spokesperson confirmed the High Court filing, and one outlet has not seen the claim documents.
