Fatal stabbing and injury reported in early-morning Koreatown attack, three suspects at large

Early Thursday morning, Los Angeles police were dispatched to the 200 block of South Alexandria Street in Koreatown after reports of a double stabbing. A 30-year-old male victim was discovered dead on the sidewalk, having suffered several stab wounds, and a second individual, whose condition was not confirmed, was taken to a hospital by a distressed relative. The Los Angeles Fire Department recorded no ambulance transports from the scene, despite initial reports of a possible shooting.

Investigators said three Hispanic male suspects left the vicinity in a white Toyota or Honda, and footage shows police tape, a white sheet covering the body, and evidence such as glasses and a hat. Multiple LAPD units and emergency vehicles were present, and a white tent was later erected over the victim. The case remains under investigation.
