Fifth Circuit Court Unveils Fresh Design for Its Online Portal

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit has rolled out a revamped website featuring updated case listings, opinion search and a courtroom calendar.

A new layout now highlights which cases are currently being argued and provides direct links to recent opinions. The Opinions section includes a full-text search function that appears to operate smoothly. Additionally, a calendar widget shows the schedule of arguments by courtroom and time. The redesign was praised by staff, especially clerk Lyle W. Cayce, who is nearing retirement after a notable tenure.

Why it matters

A clearer, searchable court website helps the public and lawyers find case information more easily.
