Florida deputies arrest Canadian driver after she used false name and 12 fake IDs were found
A Tampa traffic stop led to the arrest of Canadian national Bryce Swanson, who gave a false name and was found with twelve counterfeit driver’s licenses.
Hillsborough County deputies halted a car in Tampa after observing non-functioning taillights and tag lights. The driver, 28-year-old Bryce Swanson, first introduced herself as "Brianna Valenzuela" and asserted she possessed a driver’s license, but later claimed she had never owned a valid license. When questioned about her claim of residing in New York without any state identification, she could not provide proof.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed twelve driver’s licenses with Swanson’s photograph but assorted names and birth dates, all described as fraudulent. Officials confirmed she is a Canadian citizen who has exceeded the terms of her visa. Swanson was taken to Orient Road Jail, charged with driving without a valid license and giving a false name, and is being held without bond due to an ICE detainer.
