Former child star and OnlyFans creator joins Francesca Hong's gubernatorial campaign

Renee Olstead, a former child actress who later worked as an OnlyFans model and is also known as Renee Faust, is reported to hold the position of deputy campaign manager on Francesca Hong's bid for Wisconsin governor. According to campaign filings, she has been paid for campaign work since at least January and her social-media profile links to Hong's get-out-the-vote page. Olstead has coordinated event logistics for notable surrogates, including streamer and political commentator Hasan Piker.

The campaign responded to inquiries by highlighting Olstead's credentials as a licensed mental-health clinician serving trafficking survivors and her role in expanding the campaign's grassroots reach. Conservative advocacy group Wisconsin Family Action condemned the hire, calling it an example of an “active sex worker” leading a political effort. Hong, a Democratic socialist, also faces scrutiny over past controversial statements and policy positions as the primary approaches.
