Former Florida gubernatorial hopeful Andrew Gillum returned to jail after meth test

Andrew Gillum, who once ran for Florida governor, has been sent back to jail after a court-mandated drug screening in Alabama showed methamphetamine in his system. The test is part of a “color code” program that requires participants to call a hotline daily; Gillum failed to respond on the day his assigned color was called, leading to a test at his Thursday court appearance.
