Investigators at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix seized Jordan Pensak’s phone and found a trove of graphic communications with an inmate, including more than 100 messages, images and videos. The correspondence detailed plans for sexual encounters in a prison office, with other prisoners hired to serve as lookouts, and included vulgar references to vibrating panties and the guard’s attraction to the inmate’s “big man hands.”
Texts also hinted at a possible pregnancy, with Pensak joking about the racial makeup of a potential child. Pensak admitted she was aware the conduct could result in criminal prosecution. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has placed her on administrative leave, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for New Jersey has charged her with sexual abuse, a felony that carries a maximum sentence of 15 years. She was released on bail while the case proceeds.
