Four additional teens charged in murder of Redbank Plains man
Four more teenagers have been formally accused of murder in the death of a 21-year-old who died after an alleged assault in Logan.
A 21-year-old man from Redbank Plains was discovered unconscious with critical head trauma on Orchard Avenue in Bahrs Scrub after reports of a chaotic house party on Discovery Boulevard on July 26. He was transported to hospital but succumbed to his injuries on August 1. Police investigations have now resulted in four additional teenagers - three 18-year-olds and a 17-year-old - being charged with murder, raising the total number of accused individuals to eight.
Earlier charges this week included three teens named Joshua Jackson Jirima, Amnaud Nduwayo and Kandour Khalil Tagelsir, as well as a 19-year-old, Sunday Obol, who also faces charges of intimidation, harassment, stalking, robbery, extortion and deprivation of liberty. A separate 22-year-old was charged with violating an order to provide electronic data. Law enforcement thanked local residents, community leaders and representatives for their significant cooperation in the case.
