Frankie Harris fires a 59 to clinch Pinnacle Bank Championship in playoff
Frankie Harris posted a 12-under 59 in the final round and then defeated Alistair Docherty in a playoff to win the Korn Ferry Tour's Pinnacle Bank Championship.
At The Club at Indian Creek in Nebraska, Frankie Harris delivered an 18-foot birdie putt on the last hole to complete a 12-under 59, featuring ten birdies, an eagle and seven pars. The 23-year-old joined an elite group of nine golfers who have shot below 60 in a final round and won the tournament, alongside names such as Bryson DeChambeau and Jim Furyk. Harris and Alistair Docherty finished the regulation 72 holes tied at 22 under, leading to a playoff in which Harris prevailed.
The win moves Harris to 29th on the Korn Ferry Tour points leaderboard, bringing him within reach of the top-20 spots that earn PGA Tour cards for the 2027 season. He noted he never anticipated a 59 and chose not to celebrate with a beer, aware of Docherty's strong finish. The tournament concludes the Korn Ferry Tour season ahead of the PGA Tour's FedExCup Playoffs.
