Fresno State Bulldogs Sign Multi-Million Dollar Deal with The Wonderful Company

Fresno State athletics announced a multi-year sponsorship with The Wonderful Company, featuring brand patches on all 18 varsity uniforms starting this fall.

Fresno State announced a historic sponsorship agreement with The Wonderful Company, valued at several million dollars, though the exact figure was not disclosed. The deal brings together three of the company’s brands—Wonderful Pistachios, Wonderful Halos and POM Wonderful—to appear on the uniforms of all 18 Bulldog varsity teams beginning this fall, marking the first season NCAA Division I teams can display sponsor patches.

In addition, the pistachio logo will be painted on both 25-yard lines inside Valley Children’s Stadium. One outlet Director Garrett Klassy said the partnership will also explore other branding spots such as helmet bumpers, goal-post crossbars and field aprons. He emphasized that the collaboration was chosen for its authentic Central Valley roots, noting that the company’s products are grown and packed locally.

Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Seth Oster described the arrangement as a unique “marriage” in which a single company backs every team across multiple sports. The university will promote the partnership through its usual channels, with updates from Sydney Berger on social media.

Why it matters

The deal provides Fresno State athletics with significant new revenue and visibility while showcasing local brands on a national collegiate stage.
