From a $500 Startup to a $4 Million Video-Game Resale Empire
Caleb Ashton expanded his hobby of flipping items into QuickFlips, a video-game resale platform that generated about $4 million in revenue in 2026.
Caleb Ashton began buying and reselling cheap items in 2019 to supplement his household income while his wife attended law school. After being dismissed from a friend's collectible-coin business, he focused on video-game collections, eventually founding QuickFlips in 2024. The platform offers instant online offers, inspects items, and pays sellers within a day before flipping the goods on Amazon, eBay and TCGPlayer.
A physical storefront opened in Lexington, Kentucky, in September 2025, expanding the team to 33 employees across online and retail operations. In 2026 the company reported roughly $4 million in revenue and has paid more than $5 million to customers since its inception. Ashton attributes success to a clear payout promise, high volume sales, and a large following on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook that educates and entertains collectors.
