FuboTV posts higher Q3 revenue and narrows loss after World Cup boost
FuboTV reported $1.48 billion in revenue for the third quarter and reduced its net loss to $25.7 million, while subscriber numbers rose to 5.75 million.
FuboTV announced that its subscriber base grew to 5.75 million, surpassing both the year-ago figure of 5.63 million and the second-quarter total of 5.73 million. The company’s revenue for the quarter reached $1.48 billion, a rise from $1.07 billion in the comparable period of the prior year. Net loss was trimmed to $25.7 million, while a pro forma loss of $72 million was also reported.
Adjusted EBITDA fell to $19.1 million from $31 million on a pro forma basis a year earlier. Alisa Bowen, who assumed the CEO role after the Disney merger, highlighted the impact of major sports broadcasts, including the FIFA World Cup 2026, on subscriber growth. She said the focus will be on expanding packaging options, distribution, and user-experience innovations.
