Galyna Saltkovska discusses staying in touch with imprisoned ex Steve McBee Sr.

Reality-TV star Galyna Saltkovska says she maintains regular contact with former partner Steve McBee Sr., who is serving a two-year federal term for crop-insurance fraud at FPC Yankton in South Dakota.

In a recent interview, Galyna Saltkovska explained that she continues to communicate with Steve McBee Sr., who is currently incarcerated at the Federal Prison Camp in Yankton, South Dakota, serving a two-year sentence for a 2024 crop-insurance fraud conviction and owing over $4 million in restitution. She has made two prison visits and sends weekly emails updating him on their business ventures, acknowledging his difficult circumstances.

Their romance started as an extramarital affair while McBee Sr. was still married to Kristi McBee, the mother of his four sons, and she later became chief financial officer of McBee Farm & Cattle Co. The partnership ended when McBee Sr. began an affair with Saltkovska’s former best friend, Masha Petrova, a situation Saltkovska described as “absolutely wrong” and “inappropriate.” Despite the personal fallout, Saltkovska says she is focusing on the family business and moving forward.
