Georgia high school football realignment reshapes Region 3-4A for 2026 season
The Georgia High School Association has placed Windsor Forest, New Hampstead and Liberty County into the new Region 3-4A, joining six other schools for the 2026 football season.
Georgia's high school football map has been redrawn, placing Windsor Forest, New Hampstead and Liberty County in the newly formed Region 3-4A for the next two seasons. The region now includes Long County, Harlem, Southeast Bulloch and West Laurens, creating a fresh competitive landscape. Windsor Forest hired Willie Martin Jr. as head coach; he brings offensive coordinator experience from Crestwood High and promotes his son, three-star junior quarterback Jayden Martin.
New Hampstead, coached by Kyle Hockman in his eighth year at the school, looks to rebound from a 2-8 record with returning linemen and a new sophomore quarterback, Antonio Benton. Liberty County, under fifth-year coach Tony Glazer, returns 14 starters and targets a regional championship after a 7-4 playoff appearance last year. All three programs emphasize speed, chemistry and honoring the memory of junior player Keshaun Allen, whose jersey was displayed at media day.
