Police at Leipzig/Halle Airport uncovered a drone fitted with high‑explosive material on the southern runway, prompting the deployment of a bomb‑disposal robot. Federal interior officials closed part of the airfield while a passenger flight from Mallorca and several cargo aircraft were diverted. The cargo plane parked nearby was reported to be empty and not carrying weapons.
