Inside the home, 26-year-old Kallien Heathman was found unconscious on the floor, later waking and fighting as officers tried to extract her. The fire was traced to a pizza left cooking in a microwave. Investigators said Heathman was the legal guardian of both children at the time and has been charged with felony child abuse for allegedly leaving them unsupervised while severely intoxicated.
