Greenville Drive routs Asheville Tourists 13-1 to open doubleheader series

In the series opener of a six-game road swing, the Greenville Drive overwhelmed the Asheville Tourists 13-1, lifting their record to 40-54. The scoring began with a first-pitch homer by Justin Gonzales, followed by a sac fly and a two-run shot from Maximus Martin. Endy Azocar added a solo homer and multiple RBIs, finishing the night with a 4-for-6 line.

Greenville amassed 15 hits, while Asheville was held to six and stranded nine runners. Kyson Witherspoon secured the victory, pitching five innings and allowing a single run.
