Gunfire erupts near Idaho In-N-Out, prompting police lockdown and evacuations

Cell-phone recordings from a parking lot near an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls depict a gunman aiming an assault-style rifle at a blue Tesla and discharging two rounds before running across the lot. A separate clip shows another individual pulling a long firearm from a white sedan in the drive-through area, prompting shoppers to flee in opposite directions. Twin Falls police confirmed an active-shooter response along Blue Lakes Boulevard and began searching a nearby hotel for the suspect.

Rock Creek Fire Chief Aaron Zent said law enforcement also secured the Perrine Bridge and surrounding streets, placing nearby businesses on lockdown. Residents were urged to avoid the area while officials continue the investigation. No information on injuries, deaths, or arrests has been released at this time.
