A British TikTok traveler known as Jasmine filmed the Hollywood Walk of Fame and highlighted piles of human feces, extensive litter and a pronounced homeless presence, labeling the landmark a "crack den." Her video attracted over a thousand comments, many echoing disappointment and warning future tourists to lower expectations. Travel-service Stasher had previously ranked the sidewalk as the planet’s poorest tourist attraction, citing the lowest Google rating and safety metrics among sites near LAX airport.
The area’s reputation for decline was further tarnished in May when Berry Henderson, 37, was stabbed to death in broad daylight after confronting a dog attack. The incident underscored growing safety concerns for visitors. Together, the viral criticism and the homicide illustrate a stark contrast between the Walk of Fame’s historic glamour and its current state of neglect.
