Horizon3 Secures $250 Million Series E, Valuation Hits $2 Billion Amid AI-Driven Threat Surge

Cybersecurity firm Horizon3 raised $250 million in a Series E round, valuing the company at $2 billion as AI-related attacks intensify.

Horizon3 announced a $250 million Series E financing that lifts its valuation to $2 billion, more than tripling its worth in just over a year. Returning backers NightDragon and NEA led the round, joined by new investors such as Singapore’s EDBI, defense contractor SAIC and Qualcomm. The company’s NodeZero solution offers nonstop, live-system testing that avoids service interruptions and scans entire infrastructures, a capability its chief revenue officer says outpaces other AI security tools.

With AI-enabled attacks accelerating, customers are moving from annual, limited scans to monthly or weekly comprehensive assessments. Horizon3 plans to use the capital to open offices in Amsterdam, Australia and Singapore, broaden its partner network, and sustain heavy research spending, serving roughly 7,200-7,300 clients ranging from MSPs to Fortune 10 firms.

Why it matters

The financing fuels wider adoption of continuous AI-driven security testing as cyber threats become more sophisticated.
