Police reported that a 33-year-old chartered accountant native to Siddipet district was found dead in a hotel room in Siddipet after inhaling helium. He had bought a helium cylinder and related equipment in Balanagar, Hyderabad, and used a mask while following instructions from YouTube videos. Hotel employees notified authorities on August 4 when the guest did not respond to repeated knocks, prompting officers to break in through a window.
Inside, they discovered the man lying lifeless and recovered a suicide note in which he explained that gambling losses drove his decision. Investigators noted that his relatives had offered limited financial help and that he had sold his Hyderabad flat to cover debts.
