In-N-Out prepares to debut at Irvine's $1 billion Great Park development
A new In-N-Out restaurant is nearing completion in Irvine’s Great Park, with signage already installed and an expansive drive-through planned.
A forthcoming In-N-Out location is taking shape within Irvine’s Great Park, a former military base undergoing a $1 billion redevelopment. Instagram post by realtor Tina Tan reveals the restaurant’s exterior, with the chain’s iconic signage already mounted. City planning records indicate a sizable parking lot and a drive-through lane built to serve 33 vehicles.
The 3,808-square-foot eatery will include a 500-square-foot outdoor patio and is expected to welcome customers by late 2026. It will anchor The Canopy, a 90,000-square-foot retail and dining hub that will also host Philz Coffee, The Taco Stand, H&H Bagels, SHOOTZ and T&T Supermarket. Rumors on Reddit suggest a possible earlier opening in September, though no official date has been confirmed.
