India and Pakistan set to clash in 2026 Women's Asia Cup on September 5

The Asian Cricket Council unveiled the schedule for the 2026 Women's Asia Cup, which begins on August 28 with a Thailand versus Hong Kong opener. Eight teams are divided into two groups: Group A contains India, Pakistan, Thailand, Hong Kong China and China, while Group B features defending champions Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia. All fixtures will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with the high-profile India-Pakistan match scheduled for September 5 at 6:30 pm local time.

The top two sides from each group advance to the semi-finals on September 10 and 11, leading to a final on September 13. Sri Lanka enter as the reigning champions, and India remain the most successful team with three titles from 2012, 2016 and 2022.
