Irvine police seek suspect who spray-painted anti-Semitic slurs on multiple Teslas
Irvine police are asking the public to help locate a man captured on surveillance footage who defaced about 13 Tesla cars with the words “Nazi” and “Fascist” over two separate incidents.
Authorities in Irvine, California, are searching for a suspect who allegedly spray-painted anti-Semitic language on roughly 13 Tesla automobiles. The vandalism occurred in two different parking structures near Michelson Drive and Carlson Avenue, with four cars defaced on July 17 and an additional nine on July 23. Police say surveillance cameras at the sites and the vehicles captured a man with light brown hair, wearing gray pants and a black jacket, who used his shirt to conceal his mouth while applying the graffiti.
Irvine Police spokesperson Ziggy Azarcon posted a 33-second clip on the department’s Facebook page to solicit public assistance. The department has asked anyone with information to call the tip line at (949) 724-7000.
