Jersey Mike's readies NYSE debut, eyeing massive U.S. and overseas expansion

Jersey Mike's plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker JMKE, with shares priced between $21 and $25, while outlining aggressive growth targets.

Jersey Mike's disclosed that its shares will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday under the symbol JMKE, with an anticipated price range of $21 to $25 per share. The filing reveals plans to more than quadruple its domestic store count, targeting up to 7,500 U.S. outlets and eventually 15,000 worldwide, including 300 locations each in Canada and the UK/Ireland. The chain’s menu is positioned as "protein-forward," catering to consumers focused on protein intake and GLP-1 weight-loss drugs, citing several subs with 35-plus grams of protein.

The prospectus also details a $41 million private jet bought for founder Peter Cancro, transferred to an entity he controls, and notes that family members earned tens of millions from the business before receiving no compensation in Q1 2026. Blackstone holds a majority stake after its $8 billion acquisition last year, and the IPO will further monetize the brand’s growth potential.

Why it matters

The IPO will give investors access to a fast-growing restaurant brand and signals a major expansion push for Jersey Mike's.
