GUWAHATI: The devastating floods in Assam have triggered an outpouring of support, with several celebrities and prominent personalities stepping forward to contribute to relief and rehabilitation efforts. As the flood situation continues to affect several districts, rescue and relief operations remain underway. According to news agency PTI, the latest fatality was reported from Golaghat district, taking the death toll in this year’s floods to 99.
