Sandilands said he remains unclear about the reasons behind his termination, which followed a February on-air dispute with Henderson over her interest in astrology.

He added that he will not engage with Henderson until her Federal Court case against ARN Media concludes. Both Sandilands and former Nine presenter Karl Stefanovic have moved into independent podcasting, with Sandilands launching the subscription service KS Live and proposing a joint venture that could include Ray Hadley. The discussion also touched on the broader impact of the fallout on staff and the perceived unfairness of the legal system.
