Limited-edition Trump passports to be sold at U.S. passport offices nationwide
The State Department will expand sales of a special 250th-anniversary passport featuring Donald Trump’s portrait to passport agencies across the country.
The Department of State announced that 250,000 additional copies of a limited-edition U.S. passport celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday will be made available beyond the Washington, D.C., office. The passport, the first to feature a living president, showcases Donald Trump’s portrait and a gold-imprinted version of his signature on an interior page, with a gold-lettered cover and a small flag motif on the back. Beginning Aug. 8, select passport agencies in locations including Centennial, Colorado; Chicago; Dallas; Detroit; New Orleans; New York; and Stamford, Connecticut will host one-day events, and more offices will join the rollout later in the month.
Interested individuals must apply in person on the specified day, while those seeking standard passports must use separate appointment dates. The move follows other recent tributes to Trump, such as a commemorative coin from the U.S. Mint and proposals to place his signature on new paper currency.
